Blue sea shell

Sea shells in blue translucent resin to resemble shells in water. 

seashell blanks are a bear to turn but yield a beautiful final product. Sharp carbide tools and patience are required to concur one of these. Keep the lathe going fast and the cuts light. Due to the nature of seashells you will find voids inside shells. These can easily be filled with CA glue before finishing.

For best finish results a CA finish polished with magic juice is suggested 

seashell blanks measure a minimum of 7/8”x7/8”x5” however we try and keep these 1” square or larger when we can.
The shade of blue and the shell size and type will vary batch to batch depending on what shells we can source
